About Us

Kraken games is a small board game company which spurred out of the idea that I could make something fun and interesting in a game. I've always been a hands on person who has loved to create things, whether its a costume, piece of furniture, drawing or sculpting. I've always had random thoughts that start somewhere along the lines of "You know what, it would be fun or cool if someone made something like this...". I took it upon myself to be that person who made the ideas I was waiting for. I had an idea for a very long time (well a couple ideas actually), but I decided I would pursue them, just to see what would become of it. Even if I failed, I wouldn't mind, but I was determined to make something that I could call my own.

I have an amazing wife who has been super supportive through all of this. I also have 3 beautiful children and a full time job outside of making games. Finding time for everyone and everything can be challenging at times, but I couldn't have done it without everyone's love and support. This started out as a hobby really. Some people like fixing up an old vehicle, or collecting comic books, or even just going out to events to enjoy themselves. I spend my time with family or writing down ideas and doodling for the next steps of a game. One day, I hope to make this a big thing, but for now I will just keep it as a passion and see where everyone's love and support can help take it.

Currently profit margins are thin in this phase of everything, but one day (hopefully) it will get where it needs to be. All I ask is you trust in me and be patient with production wait times to get these manufactured. The more I can sell, the better the profit margins can be, but I don't plan to take advantage of the money for my own benefit. Ultimately what I would like to do is keep the profit margins small and use the increased demand to drive prices lower for all of you instead of increased income for me and the business. If sales increase, I should be able to order items in large bulk quantities which will help with shipping time and driving the consumer price point down, making it cheaper for people to purchase.

I appreciate everything that has happened and everyone involved who has made this happen, especially all of you who are supporting me in this journey. I can't wait to see where this goes and I hope you will all be there to find out with me.
